PAYASITA POLITICO

The call-them-as-I-see-them political thoughts of a 28 year old mom. WARNING: THIS BLOG CONTAINS STRONG POLITICAL OPINION COUPLED WITH SARCASM AND SATIRE. HOPEFULLY IT WILL OFFEND. NOT FOR PEOPLE WITH HEART, LIVER, OR KIDNEY PROBLEMS. OR METROSEXUALS.

I'm a crack-ho lazy mom who vacillates between feelings of inadequacy and delusions of grandeur. I am not bothered by kid snot, garlic breath or Bob Dylan's voice. But pinch me with your toes and I will probably kill you.

Stockholm Syndrome

Remind me if I ever decide to kidnap someone for political motivations, to make sure they are white, liberal, and consider themselves educated.

What is with this slew of ex-hostages who have nothing but praise for their kidnappers?

"I was treated well," says Jill Carroll, a journalist just released after being held hostage for several months.

Well Jill, you could have fooled us with all the crying and and begging for your life. I definitely got the impression you were being held against your will and threatened with death.

"They never hit me. They never even threatened to hit me," she added.

I suppose every cloud has a silver lining, but this is pushing it in my opinion.

Regardless, I am very happy she was not killed. I'm sorry if any money was given to these assholes because it will result in far more death, but she was young, and despite her thinly veiled (no pun intended) ideology, she didn't deserve the death they undoubtedly had in mind for her.

But all I can say is I hope no one ever treats me that well.
