Yes Yes... it was abhorrant

The abuse of the Iraqi prisoners is truly abhorrant and disgusting. Let me be clear on that point. But the true sadist in me revels (wallows?) a little in it. I mean after the burnt bodies of our people from Mogadishu to Fallujah, it doesn't bother me quite as much as it ought to see one of our gals get a little of our own back for us. I don't think she was a hero or anything, but it is hard to waste my time on sympathy for those prisoners. At least they are on solid ground instead of strung up on a bridge with the ashes of their charred flesh raining down upon the human sludge below. Damn- that was almost poetic.
