PAYASITA POLITICO

The call-them-as-I-see-them political thoughts of a 28 year old mom. WARNING: THIS BLOG CONTAINS STRONG POLITICAL OPINION COUPLED WITH SARCASM AND SATIRE. HOPEFULLY IT WILL OFFEND. NOT FOR PEOPLE WITH HEART, LIVER, OR KIDNEY PROBLEMS. OR METROSEXUALS.

I'm a crack-ho lazy mom who vacillates between feelings of inadequacy and delusions of grandeur. I am not bothered by kid snot, garlic breath or Bob Dylan's voice. But pinch me with your toes and I will probably kill you.

Upon rereading the last post....

I believe that I was a little intoximicated. I guess "mellow" is my drunken code word for, well... drunk. I think my Catholic upbringing has something to do with why (and how) I am able to mix politics and social commenting (albeit not well) with drinking. I approve of Catholicism. It seems to me to be the least phony of all the religions. I agree that it is the world's largest secret-handshake club, but as long as you can drink and complain about your EWTN watching parents, your in. Most atheists I have met seem to resent Catholics the least of all religious people. Probably this is because they are a less holier-than-thou than other Christians. That being said, I have the least amount of respect for atheists, or as I would refer to them, the ideologically challenged. Probably because they are more holier-than-thou than the most rigid born-again southern baptist whacko nutjobs. It takes a certain amount of chutzpa to believe that you are the end-all-be-all of your own existence and then call a religious person self-righteous. It is a subject that has been done to death though, and I don't feel like going on about it.
